Spicy Asian Pork
  • Pork Shoulder/Butt 1 lbs
  • Mirin 1 Tbsp
  • Sesame Oil 1 Tbsp
  • Sesame Seeds 1 Tsp
  • Chopped Garlic 1 Tbsp
  • Sugar 2 Tbsp
  • Salt 1 Tsp
  • Black Pepper 1/4 Tsp
  • Vegatable Oil 1 Tbsp
  • Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Jalapeno, Sliced 5
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine pork, mirin, sesame oil, sesame seeds, garlic, sugar, salt and black pepper, and let marinate.
  2. Heat a work or a skillet over high heat; add cooking oil and swirl to coat.
  3. Add marinated pork, cook 8 to 10 minutes or until 3/4 way cooked and golden edges. Stir occasionally so it will cook and golden evenly.
  4. Drizzle soy sauce around edge of wok, so soy sauce will evaporate right away as soon as hit wok to give smokey flavor to pork.
  5. Add serrano and stir everything together about 1 minute.
  6. Serve over rice.
